[ NOTE ] This guide assumes some basic experience with SCCM. If you are struggling with a step, please comment below.
Google Earth for Desktop
Once you launch the GoogleEarthProSetup.exe, the MSI will extract in the %TEMP% folder (e.g. "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp".)
When you add a new deployment to SCCM, it will need a "Content Location" (or network share with the files you want to distribute). An example might be "\\server1.example.org\SCCM\GoogleEarthPro". Once you have a Content Location in mind, add your GoogleEarth-Pro.msi file to this share.
Navigate to Software Library -> Applications and "Create Application". Select "Automatically detect information about this application from installation files" and specify the MSI file you found. The default settings during the detection process should work as intended, although I like to add "/qn /norestart" (instead of /q only) to the install and uninstall commands just to be safe. I also prefer to adjust the Deployment Options to "Download content from distribution point and run locally" for relatively small applications.
Congratulations, you're almost done! As usual with SCCM, you will want to deploy it to a "test" collection and see how it behaves. If you are already running older versions of Google Earth Pro on your workstations, it wouldn't be a bad idea to test a few upgrade scenarios to confirm it won't break your existing installs.
Good luck and happy scripting!
